Verdieu Learning Center is a leading educational institution that is committed to enhancing the quality of education. We are passionate about providing top-notch education that caters to each student's unique needs and challenges, especially in the current era of COVID-19. Our approach is hands-on, with a customized curriculum tailored to meet the unique requirements of each student's abilities and learning style. Our ultimate objective is to instill confidence in our students, no matter the educational setting, and we do this by offering consistent and caring mentorship from a dedicated tutor.
We believe in promoting independence in our students, particularly during homework and independent study time, as we understand the importance of self-directed learning for long-term success. Our tutors are highly mindful of our students' diverse backgrounds and learning styles, and we are committed to being considerate of all. We strive to create a warm and inclusive environment that fosters our students' intellectual development and growth. At Verdieu Learning Center, we are committed to helping our students reach their full potential and achieve academic excellence.
Miss. Yazmine Verdieu was born and raised in West Los Angeles, California. Her favorite thing about being a Los Angeles native is the easy access to the laid-back weather and the swag of Los Angeles culture. Many hidden gems in Los Angeles derive from Los Angeles, no matter what continues to be renovated.
Growing up, Miss. Yaz had her eyes set on becoming a lawyer practicing family law. Miss. Yaz always knew that she would serve families. As she progressed toward earning her undergraduate degree at California State University Dominguez Hills in Sociology and minored in Criminal Justice and Data Analytics, she started Verdieu Learning Center during her senior year and couldn’t be happier! Miss. Yaz is progressing toward earning her master's degree in Educational Curriculum Design and Technology at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
Miss Yaz loves tutoring, especially understanding how the pandemic affected students in the communities around her. She loves seeing students’ eyes light up when they know methods and questions they are confused about. She understands that that will drive students to do their best, reflecting on their grades. That winning feeling is a winning feeling for Miss Yaz!
Miss. Yaz loves to keep herself busy and push herself to reach her goals, and she is also insanely reliable. She eagerly accepts any task and never backs away from a challenge. Miss Yaz is a first-generation college graduate and a first-generation business owner. One of her greatest strengths is her resilience.
When she is not running Verdieu Learning Center, she enjoys reading books, writing in her journal, going to the gym, and spending time with her friends and family. Miss. Yazmine Verdieu is proud to serve families in the Los Angeles community.

At Verdieu Learning Center, our dedicated intern high school tutors offer enthusiastic support, guiding students with targeted assistance and fostering a love for learning. They gain valuable experience and support for their future endeavors, earning volunteer hours, compensation, and a letter of recommendation for college.
