We're happy to inform you that we can travel primarily around the West Los Angeles community for our in-person tutoring services. We understand the convenience and ease that comes with having one of our VLC tutors come to your home, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs. Our pricing includes travel fees based on the distance of your residency.

Do you keep a track record of students' progress?
We take your child's progress seriously and keep a record of their achievements. Our approach begins with a diagnostic exam that helps us identify their strengths and deficiencies. This way, we can create a personalized curriculum that is tailored to their needs. We monitor their progress to ensure that they are improving and reaching their academic goals. After three months, we administer another diagnostic exam to measure their guaranteed improvement. What qualifications and educational background do your tutors have?
Our Verdieu Learning Center Tutors deliver results. Our tutors are truly amazing! They are experts in their respective fields and serve as great academic examples for all of our students. How many sessions do you recommend?
The number of tutoring sessions that are recommended for your child may vary. This depends on their academic issues, goals, deficiencies, and any upcoming deadlines such as tests, semester report cards, standardized testing, or school entry exams. If your child requires more than one session, their Verdieu Learning Center tutor will gradually reduce the number of weekly sessions once they begin to see improvement. This will typically occur after your child's grades have increased significantly and their quarterly diagnostic exam has increased to their grade level. After these required matters, to maintain academic stamina, accountability, and continued progress, we highly recommend at least one session per week.
How long is one tutoring session?
It is essential to note that for academic goals to be successfully achieved, it is recommended that each session lasts for at least two hours, especially for students above grades 2-12. This is because the curriculum that is given, in addition to their homework, lesson plans, and independent work that applies to the lesson plan given during a session, will all cover the required time. It is important to understand that one hour is not enough time for a student to retain the information they learned during a tutoring session that will be crucial to their confidence and academic performance. It's essential to prioritize academic goals and commit to the necessary time and effort to achieve them.
How do I schedule a tutoring session?
To schedule a tutoring session, we require that you first schedule a consultation with us to discuss your child's academic concerns. During this consultation, we can also answer any questions you may have about our tutoring services. Once you have decided to move forward, we will ask you to fill out a contract and enrollment sheet, which will outline the accordances and regulations of our center. Please note that all requirements must be met in order to finalize your child's session. We look forward to working with you and helping your child achieve academic success.
